Vancouver is the largest city in British Columbia. It is situated at the mouth of the
Fraser River, and with the ocean views and the backdrop of the North Shore mountains, is arguably one of the most
beautiful cities in the world.
The downtown core is the western terminus of CP Rail and CN Rail, and is a deep sea port. The West End is
mostly high rise apartment buildings, and adjacent to the down-town business core. Stanley Park is 1000
acres of mostly treed land. There are two salt water swimming pools in the park, and it is home to the Stanley
Park Zoo. |

one time, the Grizzlies basketball team. The scenic mountains towering over them was a bit too much for them and
they moved to a small southern US town. There are real grizzlies living in the mountains not too far north
of Vancouver! |
